AWARE at ProtestActive Resistance to White Supremacy (AR) is AWARE-LA’s anti-racist organizing arm, which seeks to engage a broad base of anti-racist white people to work against racism in alliance with people of color through:

  • Building relationships with community organizations led by people of color.
  • Organizing the white community to participate strategically in local social justice campaigns led by communities of color.
  • Working on our own campaigns to engage the white community around issues of race and racism.
